  • Are you a passionate newly qualified Social Worker looking for a dynamic and rewarding role? Join our community Adult Social Work Team based at the Civic Centre in Uxbridge. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a diverse London Borough , supporting residents with a range of needs and helping them improve their well-being.

    We are seeking newly qualified Social Workers who are dedicated to supporting residents with a range of needs, using strength-based approaches to empower individuals to problem-solve and enhance their own skills.

    You will manage a protected caseload of residents requiring support including older people and people with physical disabilities.

    We offer an Assessed and Supported Year in Employment ( ASYE ) to our newly qualified social workers ensuring that they have a structured and supportive environment to build upon existing learning, further develop their skills and become competent social work practitioners.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct Care Act assessments and develop support plans.
    • Complete reviews where packages of care have been arranged
    • Participate in team meetings and professional forums.
    • Apply a preventative and strength-based approach in your practice.
    • Develop skills in Safeguarding vulnerable adults
    • Complete the ASYE programme

    About You

    • We’re looking for Social Workers who have:
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
    • The ability to apply research-informed practice in interventions.
    • A collaborative approach, working effectively with multi-agency partners.
    • Are keen to build upon existing learning, gain more experience and further develop skills and knowledge within a social worker role
