  • About the role

  • Family Help/Key Worker – Empowering Families for Lasting Change

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Family Help/Key Worker to join our dynamic team, supporting families facing complex challenges. This role is pivotal in delivering personalised interventions that empower families to build resilience, improve outcomes, and reduce reliance on statutory services.

    Duties
    • You will work intensively with children and families across the spectrum of need—from early help to those engaged with statutory services such as child protection or reunification plans.
    • Through collaborative family assessments, tailored support plans, and assertive outreach, you will be instrumental in helping families achieve sustainable, long-term change.
    • You will manage a diverse caseload, supporting families experiencing issues such as poor mental health, substance misuse, housing instability, and parenting difficulties.
    • Working alongside social workers, schools, health professionals and local partners, you’ll co-ordinate multi-agency responses and directly deliver practical support in the home and community.

Whether it's coaching on parenting strategies, facilitating access to services, or advocating for children’s needs, your impact will be both immediate and enduring. If you are passionate about early intervention, thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and are driven to make a difference, this is the opportunity for you!
