  • Are you passionate about supporting adults to live more independently and improve their quality of life? Join our dedicated team as a Resource Centre Support Worker and make a meaningful difference in your community.

    As a Resource Centre Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support to individuals attending our day opportunities service. You will work closely with service users to encourage independence, improve self-help skills, and participate in meaningful and stimulating activities.

    Your role will include:

    • Acting as a key worker to service users, helping to plan and review personalised support plans.

    • Supporting individuals with daily living activities both within the Centre and in the community.

    • Delivering and facilitating group and one-to-one activities tailored to individual abilities and interests.

    • Encouraging engagement, independence, and wellbeing through creative, sensory, and social programmes.

    • Working closely with families, carers, health professionals, and other agencies to ensure cohesive support.

    • Assisting with personal care, administering medication, and ensuring a safe and dignified environment.

    • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of the service.

    You’ll be an enthusiastic and compassionate individual who is committed to promoting independence and dignity. Ideally, you will have experience supporting adults in a care or community setting, but more importantly, you will have a genuine interest in helping others and the ability to build positive relationships.

    You should be:

    • Sensitive, respectful, and professional in your approach to care.

    • Confident in supporting individuals with varying levels of needs.

    • Comfortable using basic IT systems for record-keeping.
