    As a SEND Specialist Advisory Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting schools, educational settings, and families by providing expert training, guidance, and advice. Your expertise will help ensure that students with complex SEND receive the support they need to reach their full potential.

    In this role, you will:

    • Provide specialist advice and training to schools to promote inclusive education.
    • Support the identification, assessment, and planning of effective teaching strategies for children with SEND or emerging needs.
    • Work closely with education leaders, SEND specialists, and multi-agency teams to drive positive change.
    • Deliver professional expertise and guidance to schools, social care, and health colleagues.
    • Conduct assessments, provide timely reports, and offer expert recommendations for children with complex communication needs, autism, and other SEND.
    • Contribute to multi-agency meetings, provide specialist advice for Tribunal appeals and mediations, and support SEND policy development.
