We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Deputy Team Manager (DTM) to join our growing fostering team.

    About the Role

    As a Deputy Team Manager, you will:

    • Support & Supervise up to five Supervising Social Workers (SSWs), helping them develop their skills and maintain high standards of practice.
    • Recruit & Retain Foster Carers to strengthen our capacity in providing stable and nurturing placements for children.
    • Work Closely with foster carers, kinship carers, and children to ensure well-matched placements and ongoing support for stability and positive outcomes.

    • A Positive & Inspiring Leader – able to motivate and guide a team.
    • Experienced in Fostering & Social Care – with a strong understanding of fostering legislation.
    • A Strong Communicator & Relationship-Builder – working effectively with social workers, carers, and professionals.
    • Highly Organised & Resilient – able to manage competing priorities and drive continuous service improvement.

    A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, as the role involves travel across the borough to visit foster carers and attend meetings.
