What does a Programme Delivery worker in the Youth Offer Team do at the Council?
You will have responsibility for supporting the delivery of a cohesive and comprehensive Youth Offer in Hillingdon that enables children, young people, and communities to progress towards positive social, health, and economic outcomes, through engagement in work and development services. Your goal will be to enable children, young people and communities to develop competencies that support their progression and build sustained resilience to risk.
The role requires that you:
- Support the delivery of a relevant programme offer by ensuring an effective response to community need.
- To ensure that children, young people, and communities that require continuing preventative support are identified and engaged in learning and activity programmes.
- To ensure that children, young people and communities that require statutory engagement are identified and referred to specialist or acute service providers.
About you
The ideal candidate will have proven experience of community development , with an ability to support community groups and individuals, To be effective you will need to demonstrate experience of supporting organisational partnerships and an ability to involve the community and other stakeholders in service design and delivery.
Our preferred candidate will be able to work flexibly meet the needs of the Service including evening, weekend and residential work.
