  • About the role

  • We’re looking for an Education Power BI Developer to join us on a fixed-term basis, supporting the implementation of EYES, our Education Case Management System.

    This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in transforming reporting across Education Services by developing high-quality Power BI dashboards and reports that support statutory, operational and performance reporting.

    You will work closely with stakeholders, data teams and service leads to turn complex data into clear, reliable insight while helping move reporting processes from manual methods to more efficient and automated solutions.

    This vacancy is being offered as:

    • 1 x 10-month Fixed Term Contract
    • 1 x 12-month Fixed Term Contract

    For internal applicants, these opportunities will be offered as secondments.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    As an Education Power BI Developer, you will:

    • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for Education Services
    • Work with complex datasets to provide accurate and meaningful reporting insight
    • Build and maintain SQL views within SSMS to support reporting requirements
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, understand and translate reporting needs
    • Support the implementation and ongoing development of the EYES system
    • Help improve reporting processes through automation and efficient data solutions
    • Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, reliable and aligned with statutory requirements
    • Contribute to continuous improvement across reporting and analytics functions

    About You

    We are looking for someone who:

    • Has strong experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI
    • Has excellent SQL skills, including essential experience building views in SSMS
    • Is confident working with large and complex datasets
    • Can communicate effectively with stakeholders and translate business needs into reporting solutions
    • Produces accurate, high-quality work with strong attention to detail
    • Has experience within education reporting and analytics
    • Can work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team

    Experience of working with EYES would be advantageous.
