About Hillingdon
Hillingdon Children’s Services were judged Outstanding in 2023, and we have continued our journey of improvement ever since. We have recently embarked on a significant transformation programme, reshaping our delivery model to align with the Families First Partnership Programme.
Our new approach integrates early help, child in need, and child protection pathways into a unified, locality-based Family Help Service and a new Multi-Agency Child Protection Team. This model emphasises trauma-informed practice, co-design with families, and strong multi-agency collaboration, ensuring support is accessible and tailored to the needs of children and families.
We have consolidated key workers and social workers into 11 Family Help teams across three locality areas, enabling practitioners to build robust relationships with local partners and deliver consistent, high-quality interventions.
