Key Responsibilities

• Provide regular supervision, guidance, and support to approved foster carers.

• Complete statutory visits, annual foster carer reviews, and quality assessments.

• Safeguard children by identifying and responding to risk, concerns, and allegations.

• Contribute to placement stability, matching, and support planning.

• Maintain accurate, timely case recording and reports.

• Work collaboratively with children’s social workers, partner agencies, and fostering panel.

• Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in fostering practice.

• Participate in out-of-hours duty/rotas as required.
