We are offering a part-time position within the Universal Offer - Hillingdon Youth Offer. This role is based across the borough of Hillingdon and runs throughout the year. The work pattern includes evening shifts, afternoon shifts, weekend shifts, and occasional residential work.
Our Universal team works with children and young people to deliver high-quality, consistent youth work. We provide locality-based, detached, outreach, specialist, and accredited programmes across the borough in collaboration with statutory, community, and voluntary sectors. Our services are responsive to the needs of children and young people, offering safe spaces for development and opportunities that promote personal and social growth.
The successful candidate will join our Specialist and Accredited Team, supporting the expansion of our Universal Offer for children and young people.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a positive, holistic, and empowering approach to service delivery. We are looking for individuals with proven experience and competence in working with children and young people, either in formal or informal education or community settings. A deep understanding of the challenges children and young people face today is essential, along with a creative and dynamic approach to engaging hard-to-reach and vulnerable groups.
There is no specific qualification required for this role, and training will be provided as part of the induction process. A willingness to learn and a commitment to supporting children and young people is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
