  • About the role

  • Are you an experienced supervisor looking for an opportunity to lead a dedicated caretaking team? We are seeking a Caretaking Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day delivery of our Caretaking Service, ensuring high standards, excellent customer service, and continuous service improvement. 

    As a Caretaking Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of caretakers, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with our Landlord Estate Standards. You will play a key role in staff development, service planning, and operational coordination, while also maintaining strong communication with residents and stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and support the caretaking team, ensuring performance targets are met.
    • Conduct regular spot checks and oversee daily operations to maintain service standards.
    • Manage staffing levels, including agency workers, to meet service demands.
    • Ensure all health and safety regulations and council policies are followed.
    • Respond to resident inquiries and assist in resolving complaints.
    • Work closely with the Operations Manager to plan and allocate resources effectively.
    • Contribute to service improvement initiatives and change programs.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Strong leadership and people management skills.
    • Experience in caretaking, facilities management, or a similar operational role.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to manage workloads effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
