  • About the role

  • This role offers an exciting opportunity to take a leading position in the effective delivery of repairs, specifically addressing damp, mould, and condensation (DMC) issues. Reporting to the Team Leader (Repairs North or South), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction are upheld.

    Your key responsibilities will include diagnosing and resolving DMC issues, managing the end-to-end repairs process, and coordinating with planners, operatives, and contractors to deliver timely and effective service. You will also oversee contractor performance, support team development, and may be required to deputise for the Team Leader when necessary.

    About You

    The successful candidate will have:

    • A recognised trade qualification (NVQ Level 2 or higher, ideally Level 3).
    • A minimum of two years’ professional experience in trade and repair work, including supervising multi-trade operatives.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage repairs efficiently while ensuring high standards and customer satisfaction.
    • A solid understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with residents, colleagues, and contractors.
    • A proactive, adaptable, and team-focused approach, with a commitment to exceptional customer care and continuous improvement.
