As a Family Time Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and observing contact sessions between children/young people and their parents or family members.
- Safely transporting or escorting children to and from contact sessions.
- Observing, recording and reporting sessions.
- Producing high-quality and comprehensive reports for court when required.
About You
We're searching for a dedicated and motivated individual who possesses the following qualities:
- A "can-do" attitude and a passion for working with children and families.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to meet the demands of our busy service.
- Effective communication skills, especially when working with children, their families, foster carers, and colleagues.
- The ability to build strong working relationships with our Social Work Colleagues, foster carers, and associated professionals.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Experience of working with looked-after children, children in need, or vulnerable children and their families is essential for this role.
- To be available to work outside of 10.00am to 6pm Monday to Friday as transporting children to and from placement before and after a contact will be needed.
- To be flexible - although you'll be allocated families to observe in advance, changes can be made during the week due to new referrals.
- A valid driving license and access car for work purposes.
