  • About the role

  • We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Domestic Abuse Programme Administrator to support the delivery of our local domestic abuse strategy and partnership work.

Working closely with the Strategic Domestic Abuse Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring that domestic abuse activity across the borough is well-coordinated, monitored and effectively delivered. This includes supporting governance arrangements, partnership working and key programmes such as MARAC and wider safeguarding initiatives.

You will provide high-quality administrative and coordination support, helping to drive multi-agency collaboration and improve outcomes for victims, survivors, children and families.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide administrative and coordination support to the Strategic Domestic Abuse Lead and partnership

    • Arrange and support meetings, including agendas, minutes and action tracking

    • Maintain accurate records, documentation and data systems

    • Support delivery of domestic abuse projects, initiatives and events

    • Monitor actions, deadlines and progress, escalating issues where required

    • Prepare reports, briefings and correspondence for stakeholders

    • Act as a key point of contact for internal teams and external partners

    • Support financial processes including invoices, payments and basic budget monitoring

    • Handle sensitive and confidential information in line with safeguarding and data protection requirements

    About You

You will be organised, detail-focused and confident working in a fast-paced, partnership environment.

    You will have:

    • Experience in providing administrative or programme support, ideally within a safeguarding or partnership setting

    • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships

    • Confidence working with data, reports and administrative systems

    • A proactive and solution-focused approach

    • An understanding of domestic abuse and safeguarding, or a willingness to develop knowledge in this area

You will be comfortable working with sensitive information and committed to supporting services that improve outcomes for vulnerable residents.
