  • Are you a passionate qualified Social Worker looking for a dynamic and rewarding role? Join our Community Adult Social Work Team based at the Civic Centre in Uxbridge, within a diverse London Borough. This is an exciting opportunity to support residents with a range of needs and help them improve their well-being.

    We are looking for qualified Social Workers who are dedicated to empowering residents using strength-based approaches. You'll assist individuals in problem-solving and enhancing their skills, helping them live more independently and with greater dignity.

    You will manage a caseload of residents, including older people and individuals with physical disabilities, ensuring they receive the support they need.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct Care Act assessments and develop individual support plans.
    • Complete reviews for packages of care already in place.
    • Participate in team meetings and professional forums to share knowledge and expertise.
    • Apply a preventative and strength-based approach in your practice.
    • Conduct S42 investigations to safeguard vulnerable adults from abuse or neglect.

    About You

    We’re looking for Social Workers who possess:

    • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
    • The ability to apply research-informed practice in interventions.
    • A collaborative approach, working effectively with multi-agency partners.
    • A keen desire to build on existing learning, gain experience, and further develop skills within a Social Worker role.

    For Senior Social Workers, you will manage a caseload and may have supervisory responsibility for up to two workers within the team.

    Salary Information
    This role is open to experienced Social Workers at different levels, with salary offered according to assessed experience and qualifications:

      • Social Worker (POA): £42,771 – £46,968
      • Senior Social Worker (POB): £48,003 – £52,194

    Please note: Salary will be offered within the appropriate banding based on skills, experience, and interview assessment.
