We’re looking for a dedicated and professional to join our Mental Health AMHP Hub.
You will be working as an Advanced Practitioner/AMHP in a friendly and supportive team within the AMHP Hub, providing statutory services under the Mental Health Act 1983 to adults known to secondary mental health services. The AMHP will be on the rota for undertaking Mental Health Act assessments on a rolling 5 week rota covering 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.
Approved Mental Health Professionals have a crucial part to play in improving mental health outcomes for Hillingdon residents. You will be working in partnership with residents, families and carers, as well as other professionals, to optimise involvement and provide collaborative solutions. You will need to use all your Social Work skills, knowledge and values to engage with people in creative ways, to find out what matters to individuals and to promote their recovery, independence and looking for working in the least restrictive manner.

About You
You will need to be a Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England and AMHP.
