  • About the role

  • As a Lead Counter Fraud Investigator at Hillingdon, you will be joining a nationally recognised award-winning Counter Fraud Team.

    You will be responsible for undertaking complex investigations into cases of suspected social housing fraud and supporting the Counter Fraud Manager with the planning and delivery of proactive counter fraud projects.

    You will work individually or as part of a team with responsibility for coaching and developing more junior Counter Fraud staff with support from the Counter Fraud Manager.

    Being able to quickly and effectively analyse large amounts of information will be a key skill to this role. Your ability to effectively manage your time and resources on a range of projects will be essential to meeting deadlines whilst understanding the needs, timescales and deadlines of others.

    You will provide clear and concise written records of your work and write comprehensive investigation reports with recommendations for further action to be taken.

    You must be able to work flexibly in order to meet the needs of the service and project targets including occasional work outside usual office hours.
