    • Support the movement and handling of musical instruments and equipment in accordance with manual handling guidance.
    • Log and report maintenance, health and safety and safeguarding concerns.
    • Assist with administrative tasks, including photocopying music, relaying messages and maintaining records.
    • Ensure buildings are left clean, safe and secure at the end of each shift.

    About You

We are looking for enthusiastic and dependable individuals who enjoy working with children and young people and take pride in delivering excellent customer service.

    The ideal candidate will:

    • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Be approachable, supportive and able to build positive relationships with a wide range of people.
    • Have a strong customer service focus and a positive, professional attitude.
    • Be reliable, punctual and able to work independently when required.
    • Be comfortable dealing with challenging situations calmly and confidently.
    • Have good organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • Be able to follow procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies and safeguarding concerns.
    • Be willing to undertake First Aid and Fire Warden training.
    • Be able to carry out manual handling tasks safely and appropriately.
    • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

No specific qualifications are required; however, experience working with children, young people, customers or within events, education or community settings would be advantageous.

The role requires regular contact with children and young people and includes responsibilities relating to their supervision and welfare.
