  • About the role

  • At Hillingdon, we're improving how we plan, monitor and deliver works programmes across our housing and operational assets.

We're looking for a Works Insight and Programme Manager who can turn information into action. Someone who can see beyond the spreadsheet, spot risks early, challenge where needed and make sure programmes stay on track.

You'll support the Adaptations and Works Insight Manager by providing programme oversight, performance insight and financial monitoring across a range of works programmes. Working across operational teams, contractors and stakeholders, you'll help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with agreed priorities.

This role is both Civic Centre and site based, giving you the opportunity to work closely with the people delivering services on the ground while providing the insight and assurance needed to support decision making.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and oversee works programmes across operational assets.
    • Monitor programme performance, risks, dependencies and milestones.
    • Act as an escalation point for complex or high-risk programme issues.
    • Ensure programme, performance and financial data is accurately maintained across OneServe, Compliance 365 and Oracle.
    • Monitor budgets, forecasts and expenditure, identifying risks and pressures.
    • Produce insight and reporting to support operational and strategic decision-making.
    • Lead and develop the Works Insight and Programmes team.
    • Support complaints, enquiries and stakeholder requests relating to programme delivery.
    • Drive continuous improvement through performance analysis and programme insight.

    About You

You don't necessarily need to come from a housing background.

What matters is your ability to manage programmes, understand performance data and work with others to deliver results.

    You are:

    • Analytical – You use data and insight to identify issues and opportunities.
    • Organised – You can manage competing priorities and keep programmes moving.
    • Collaborative – You build strong relationships across teams and with contractors.
    • Solutions-focused – You take ownership and find practical ways forward.
    • A confident leader – You support and develop others while maintaining high standards.
    • Committed to improvement – You're always looking for better ways of working.

If you're passionate about performance, programme delivery and improving services for residents, we'd love to hear from you.
