  • About the role

  • We’re looking for a practical, reliable and enthusiastic Programme Delivery Worker to support the delivery of our peripatetic Hillingdon Youth Offer. You’ll play a key role in preparing and maintaining the youth bus and mobile resources that enable our Detached and Outreach Team to engage children, adolescents, and young adults across the borough.

    This is a hands-on role that helps ensure safe, high-quality delivery of youth activities and programmes in community settings.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Supporting the Detached and Outreach Team to build positive relationships with young people at risk of negative social, health, or economic outcomes.

    • Helping to deliver personal development activities and programmes as part of the wider Hillingdon Youth Offer.

    • Ensuring the youth bus is fully operational through daily, weekly and periodic maintenance checks (water, oil, tyres, fuel).

    • Reporting any defects, mechanical issues, or repairs needed, and maintaining accurate written records.

    • Assisting with the planning, delivery and evaluation of Detached and Outreach programmes.

    • Contributing to the team’s delivery plan and supporting activities to ensure successful implementation.

    • Demonstrating the Council’s Customer Care Standards and supporting our commitment to putting our residents first.

    • Other reasonable duties may be required to support service delivery.
